Patient Barcode and RFID Wristbands

Positive patient identification is the foundation of patient safety. Build your foundation on durable wristbands that stay on the patient and remain readable after repeated use and extended treatments.

Wristbands provide a convenient, one-step solution for patient IDs. Text, graphics, and bar codes can be printed directly on the wristband in a single pass. Wristbands produced in this manner eliminate the need for handwritten or typed inserts, or stick-on labels. In addition, they save time and ensure greater accuracy.

Applying bar code or RFID smart labels to outgoing items lets you verify shipment accuracy with a simple scan, automatically build advance ship notice (ASN) and bill of lading records, and provide accurate information for tracking, customer service, inventory, and other applications.

Wristbands with embedded radio frequency identification (RFID) tags can be read through bed linens, so patients don’t have to be disturbed when sleeping. They can be used with fixed readers in doorways and corridors, to help staff keep track of ambulatory patients. A Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) National Patient Safety Goal requires two forms of patient identification on the wristband. With our wristband solutions, you can easily satisfy this requirement. You can also encode patient information in bar codes and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags to comply with HIPAA privacy requirements.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” row_negative_margin=”disable_negative_margin” css_animation=”” side_padding=”5″][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” row_negative_margin=”disable_negative_margin” z_index=”” side_padding=”5″][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1620334577884{background-color: #0f2c5c !important;}”][vc_column_text]
