Refresh your Xi4’s with ZT Series
Zebra has just unleashed a new series of industrial printers and it’s creating a lot of buzz. These printers replacing the Xi4 and 105SL respectively, are improving on what were already industry-leading devices. These printers are now available, and we wanted to give you a first look at the newly released products.
ZT600 Series Industrial Printers
The new ZT600 series of printers is replacing the powerful Xi4 series that came before it. These ZT600’s are designed for the heavy industrial use, but also have consumer features to make it very user-friendly. On the inside, this machine has a side-loading media and ribbon mechanism, lighted media pathway (easy loading), color touch points, and a cover open light (simple repairs in dark settings). On the outside, there’s a large color display screen with an icon-based user interface. These printers will print 600dpi on labels as small as 3mm. They also have a host of other new features including Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 and Dual USB host ports. The ZT600’s are a must have if you’re looking for top of the line quality and production.
ZT500 Series Industrial Printers
The 105SL printer series is getting a big upgrade, and Zebra is calling it their ZT500 series. These printers are ideal for economical, high-performance printing. The all-metal ZT500 printers provide reliable and durable printing for demanding applications. While it doesn’t have all the user-friendly features that the 600s have, it’s a powerhouse. The major enhancements on this product include Link-OS, monochromatic icon-based user interface, Gigabit Ethernet, a modular cutter kit, and a USB host. If you’re in the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics field, then these printers are purposely-built for your requirements.
